Bottom Tier: The Foundation
Before we regenerate tissue, we reduce inflammation, improve circulation, and correct mechanical blocks. This foundational level includes diagnostic and pain management techniques that work together to reset the body’s healing environment

Ultrasound Imaging
Real-time, accurate visualization of joints and soft tissues to guide precise diagnosis and treatment, helping us choose the most effective treatment and pain management methods.
Ultrasound Imaging & Guidance
Ultrasound is a non-invasive, radiation-free diagnostic tool that allows us to see muscles, tendons, ligaments, joints, and nerves in real time. Unlike X-rays, which only show bone, or MRIs, which often require scheduling and long wait times, ultrasound provides an immediate, dynamic view of soft tissues during your visit.
At Peak Health VIP, we use ultrasound for two essential purposes:
- Accurate Diagnosis: To assess what’s happening inside the joint, muscle, or tendon, whether it’s inflammation, tissue degeneration, or a mechanical issue.
- Precision-Guided Treatment: To ensure that our regenerative injections, whether platelet-rich plasma (PRP) or hyaluronic acid, are delivered with pinpoint accuracy to the exact structure that needs repair.
This level of precision dramatically enhances outcomes, reduces treatment error, and builds patient confidence, making ultrasound an essential part of every personalized care plan at our clinic.

Shockwave Therapy
Breaks down scar tissue and boosts circulation to prepare the area for faster, deeper healing. As an alternative pain management technique, it’s a strong option for musculoskeletal conditions without relying on medication.
Shockwave Therapy (ESWT – Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy)
Shockwave therapy is a non-invasive treatment that uses high-frequency sound waves directed at the injured area. The treatment typically takes 15 to 30 minutes per area and does not require needles or downtime.
At Peak Health VIP, we use shockwave therapy to break up scar tissue, improve blood flow, reduce pain, and stimulate tissue repair. These waves create controlled microtrauma, which prompts the body to send in growth factors, repair cells, and regenerative tissue. More importantly, we often use it as a preparatory step before regenerative treatments like Prolotherapy or PRP, making the tissue more responsive for accelerated healing.
Side effects are minimal and temporary, which typically include mild redness or soreness at the site of treatment. There is no risk of systemic side effects, dependency, or interference with other therapies.
We use shockwave therapy to treat the following conditions:
- Osteoarthritis (knee, shoulder, hip, spine, hand, foot)
- Chronic tendonitis (rotator cuff, gluteal, patellar, Achilles)
- Plantar fasciitis and heel spurs
- Tennis/Golfer’s elbow
- Frozen shoulder and calcific tendinopathy
- Muscle tightness and trigger points
- Non-healing ligament or tendon injuries or bursitis
Erectile dysfunction (vascular-related)

Nerve Entrapment Release
Frees compressed nerves to reduce pain and restore natural movement and function. May be integrated into multimodal pain therapy for chronic or complex pain syndromes.
Nerve Entrapment Release
Nerve entrapment happens when a nerve is compressed by surrounding muscles, fascia, or connective tissue. This compression can cause tingling, burning, sharp pain, or numbness. At Peak Health VIP, we use a procedure called Perineural Injection Therapy (PIT) to release these nerves and restore proper function.
PIT involves injecting a low concentration of dextrose (typically 5%) just under the skin, along the path of affected superficial nerves. These nerves are often inflamed due to mechanical irritation, chronic tension, or past injury. The procedure is well tolerated and typically requires only small needles. The success of this treatment depends on precise mapping of the entrapped nerves, something that requires advanced clinical skill and extensive anatomical experience.
This procedure often provides rapid relief and improves the nervous system’s ability to regulate pain, movement, and inflammation.
Nerve release is especially important before regenerative therapies like PRP, because compressed nerves impair blood flow and healing signals. Releasing them restores the pathway for full regeneration.

Targeted Supplementation
Delivers essential nutrients via oral or IV infusion to support tissue repair from within. This approach aligns with holistic pain therapy by addressing internal drivers of inflammation and pain through nutrition.
Supplementation (Oral and IV Support)
At Peak Health VIP, targeted supplementation is foundational to achieving optimal healing outcomes. Many patients assume supplements are “extra” or “nice to have,” but in reality, they play a critical role in preparing the body to heal.
We often recommend oral supplements, intravenous (IV) nutrient therapy, or a combination of both, depending on the chronicity of your condition and any underlying deficiencies or comorbidities. This approach supports not only joint and tendon repair, but also the broader metabolic and cellular systems that fuel tissue regeneration.
These supplements are not meant to be taken for life. Most clients follow a structured plan for a few months, specifically timed to support the regenerative phases of care. When the body is supplied with the right building blocks, nutrients, minerals, vitamins, and tissue-repair cofactors, the response to treatment is faster, deeper, and longer lasting.
We present this part of your plan with flexibility, always respecting your preferences, but with one message clear: Without a nourished foundation, regeneration is incomplete.

Movement Therapy (Home Exercise)
Strengthens muscles and stabilizes the joint to enhance the effects of regenerative treatment. We use these exercise-based pain management techniques to complement our regenerative treatments.

Middle Tier: Joint Support
This phase primes the joint for regeneration by flushing it and creating a healing-ready environment.

Hyaluronic Acid Injections
Lubricate and cushion the joint to reduce pain and improve mobility. This is a commonly used pain management modality in our Oakville clinic, especially for those with early joint degeneration.
Hyaluronic Acid Injections (Viscosupplementation)
Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance found in your joints that helps keep them lubricated and cushioned. As we age or develop osteoarthritis, the quality and amount of hyaluronic acid in the joint decreases, which causes friction, stiffness, and pain.
This pain therapy option involves injecting a high-purity, gel-like hyaluronic acid directly into the affected joint (usually the knee or shoulder). The procedure is well-tolerated and helps relieve pain and improve mobility, allowing you to stay active while we work on deeper healing through other treatment and pain management modalities.
At Peak Health VIP, hyaluronic acid is most effective in early-stage osteoarthritis, where it can temporarily reduce pain and improve joint lubrication. For patients with mild to moderate osteoarthritis, we incorporate hyaluronic acid as part of the preparation phase for certain joints to reduce friction, improve comfort, and create a more responsive environment prior to PRP therapy. This strategic sequencing helps enhance the effectiveness and long-term outcomes of your regenerative treatment.
That said, its effectiveness is limited in cases of severe osteoarthritis.

Prolotherapy Injections
Stimulate controlled inflammation to strengthen joints and prepare for PRP. May also be used alone for early arthritis or tendonitis.
Prolotherapy
Prolotherapy is a regenerative injection technique designed to stimulate the body’s natural healing mechanisms in ligaments, tendons, and joint capsules that have become weak or unstable. Instead of using platelets like in PRP, prolotherapy involves the injection of a natural dextrose solution (a mild sugar water) directly into targeted areas. This creates a controlled inflammatory response, signaling the body to begin a localized repair cascade.
It is especially useful for:
- Ligament laxity and joint instability
- Early-stage degenerative joint changes
- Tissues with poor blood supply that are slow to heal naturally
At Peak Health VIP, prolotherapy can be used as a standalone treatment in cases of early-stage tendonitis or mild ligament instability, where the tissue is still responsive and degeneration is minimal. However, in mild to moderate stages of tendonitis or osteoarthritis, we often use prolotherapy in conjunction with PRP as a priming step to stimulate local repair, improve joint responsiveness, and enhance the overall effectiveness of the regenerative treatment. By reducing micro-instability and “waking up” the local tissue, we dramatically increase the success rate of follow-up regenerative therapies.
“This is the water and fertilizer before planting the regenerative seed.”
Top Tier: Regenerative Plasma Therapy (PRP)
This is where cellular repair begins.
We don’t treat PRP as a one-time fix. At Peak Health VIP, it’s the final step of a sequenced plan, used only after your body is fully prepared.

Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP)
Delivers high-concentration healing factors to damaged tissue for deep, lasting repair. Among the pain therapy options in Oakville, PRP stands out for its ability to promote natural healing at the cellular level.
Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapya
The Peak Health Difference
PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) therapy is one of the most advanced and natural ways to regenerate damaged tissue using your own blood. After a simple blood draw, we use a medical-grade centrifuge to isolate the platelet-rich plasma, packed with growth factors that stimulate cell repair, reduce inflammation, and accelerate healing.
At Peak Health VIP, PRP is not just an injection; it’s the final step of a strategically engineered process designed for long-term results. While most providers offer standard PRP, typically producing just 2–4 billion platelets, our advanced PRP consistently delivers 12–15 billion, often three times more concentrated. Why does that matter? Studies show that higher platelet volume and concentration lead to better healing outcomes.
What makes our process different is how we prepare your body to get the most out of PRP. Before we inject, we loosen up scar tissue and adhesions, increase blood flow to the joint, and release nerve tension to reduce pain and irritation. We also provide the nutrients your body needs to rebuild, so the tissue has the raw materials required to heal. Then, and only then, we apply the advanced PRP, your body’s most powerful repair signal, at the top of your healing pyramid, when the environment is ready to respond.
While our pricing may be higher than standard PRP, patients aren’t comparing the same product. Our Advanced PRP is the cornerstone of your personalized healing pyramid, refined through over seven years of clinical experience.
This isn’t just an injection, it’s a medically engineered protocol for true healing.
“This is the water and fertilizer before planting the regenerative seed.”
