Neck and Back Pain Treatment Oakville – Our Process
No surgery. No long-term meds. Just science-backed care at our neck and back pain clinic in Oakville and Mississauga, led by award-winning specialists.

Step 1:
Assessment Phase (Identify the Source of Neck and Back Pain)
We start by uncovering the true cause of your joint pain or limitation.
We use:
- A detailed physical exam focusing on joint function and biomechanics.
- Advanced ultrasound imaging to identify affected tendons, ligaments, and nerve entrapments.
Potential benefits may include:
- An accurate diagnosis.
- Identification of tears, adhesions, and nerve compressions.
- A personalized treatment plan aimed at helping you get back to the activities you enjoy.

Step 2:
Preparation Phase
We prepare the joint and tendon for optimal support.
We do:
- Break down scar tissue and boost circulation in the affected area.
- Release entrapped nerves
- Strengthen and stabilize ligaments and joint capsules.
Potential benefits may include:
- Improved blood supply to the area.
- Released nerves that may help reduce pain and improve muscle activation.
- A primed tendon area for regenerative therapy.

Step 3:
Treatment Phase
(Regenerative Therapies)
We now deliver high quality regenerative medicine into the prepared tendon and ligament system to help reduce neck and back pain.
We use:
- High-potency PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) with up to 12+ billion platelets
- Image-guided precision injections to the exact site of injury
Potential benefits may include:
- Support for tissue strength and function in the treated area
- Support for stronger, more resilient tendons and ligaments
- Longer-term pain management that may help reduce reliance on pills and may help delay or reduce the need for surgery in appropriate cases

Step 4:
Maintenance Phase
This phase is designed to help your body maintain progress and stay resilient.
We use:
- A custom home exercise program, delivered via our app, which includes targeted neck and back exercises to support your progress.
- High-quality supplements to support this phase.
Potential benefits may include:
- Reduced downtime between treatments and activities.
- Help getting back to the sports and hobbies you enjoy.
- Support for spine and joint health over time.

Who This Is For
High Performance Is Your Standard. But Your Neck and Back Pain Is Holding You Back.
You lead. You train. You perform. You carry the load.
But now every swing, twist, or stretch comes with hesitation.
You Feel:
- The morning stiffness that lingers.
- The ache after a long drive, a workout, or even just sitting too long.
- The pinch when you turn your head—or the pull across your lower back when you reach, lift, or move.
This isn’t “just getting older.”
It’s a structural imbalance that’s robbing your strength, your focus, and your momentum.
We Help People Who:
- Are held back by neck or back pain in their career, workouts, or everyday life.
- Were told to “rest,” “stretch it out,” or “live with it” but know that’s not enough.
- Tried massage, physio, or medications but the problem always comes back.
- Want to move, train, and lead without stiffness, restriction, or fear of reinjury.
- Expect their spine to support their lifestyle, not become a limitation.
Whether it’s Neck Sprain, Cervical Osteoarthritis, Lumbar Strain, or Lower Back Degeneration your control, posture, and physical presence are compromised.
You can’t rotate cleanly.
You can’t train without bracing or warming up for 30 minutes.
Golf, tennis, long drives, even time with your family starts to feel like a trigger.
We don’t chase symptoms.
We address the underlying factors: poor alignment, weak stabilizers, hidden inflammation, and tissue fatigue.
We work to support your spinal health from the inside out,
to help you move with more strength, freedom, and confidence.
If you’re ready to stop managing pain and start optimizing movement, this is for you.
Why Does Hip Pain Happen?
Many people are told their pain is due to a disc bulge, degenerative disc disease, or facet arthritis based on an MRI. But in reality, those findings are often incidental—not the true source of pain.
Most chronic neck and lower back pain comes from ligament laxity and superficial nerve entrapment, which create mechanical instability, irritate the surrounding nerves, and lead to persistent muscle spasm. The visible joint inflammation or disc wear is usually a byproduct, not the root cause.
That’s why many people who receive cortisone injections, epidurals, facet blocks, or even radiofrequency ablation may get short-term relief or none at all. The problem wasn’t being treated.
At Peak Health VIP, our methods for treating neck and back pain in Oakville take a different approach. We focus on:
- Strengthening ligament support.
- Releasing nerve entrapments.
- Treating related tendonitis.
- Addressing movement imbalances.
We specialize in non-surgical, non-opioid, root-cause-driven care for clients who’ve been told their MRI is “normal,” or that nothing else can be done.
We do not treat true disc herniations with neurogenic pain, as those may require surgical consultation. But for the majority of “non-surgical” cases still in pain, we offer what the system does not.

Conditions We Treat at Our Oakville Back Pain and Neck Pain Clinic
Personalized, physician-guided regenerative treatments designed to help reduce neck and back pain and support performance. Results may vary.
Advanced Modalities We Use To Treat Neck and Back Pain Injuries
For neck and back pain that’s keeping you from sports, hobbies, or daily work, our treatments focus on regeneration to help you get back to what you enjoy.
Shockwave Therapy
Shockwave therapy may help reduce chronic tendon pain. At Peak Health VIP, it is used first to break down scar tissue and prime the area for regenerative treatment.
Nerve Entrapment Release (PIT)
Peak Health VIP releases compressed nerves to help reduce nerve pain, tingling, or weakness after injury and support your progress.
Prolotherapy
Designed to help strengthen loose or damaged ligaments, especially after sprains. Peak Health VIP combines it with shockwave to support joint stability.
Platelet-Rich Plasma
Our PRP delivers 15–18 billion platelets per treatment, over triple the volume of standard kits for joint pain, tendon tears, cartilage, and meniscus injuries.
Ultrasound
Peak Health VIP uses dynamic ultrasound imaging to stress-test ligaments and tendons during movement, not just static scans like most clinics rely on.
Supplementation
Targeted supplements, personalized based on your lab results and injury type, are designed to support inflammation control and tissue rebuilding. Results may vary.

Top FAQs – Neck and Back Pain
Why does my neck or back pain persist even if my MRI shows only a small disc bulge or slight arthritis?
Because those are often incidental findings. The real pain driver is usually ligament instability and superficial nerve irritation, which cause muscle spasms and persistent discomfort, even when imaging seems “normal.”
Can faulty ligaments really cause ongoing pain and stiffness?
Yes. When spinal ligaments stretch or weaken, even slightly, they destabilize the spine. This triggers reflexive muscle tightening and nerve irritation, leading to chronic symptoms even without structural damage. This is a common but overlooked source of middle and low back pain, especially when imaging doesn’t reveal major disc or joint damage.
Many specialists suggested cortisone or facet injections, why don’t they always work?
Those treatments target inflammation, not the instability. Unless the root cause, ligament weakness, and nerve entrapment is addressed, relief is short-lived. At Peak Health VIP, we use regenerative injections designed to help improve stability and mobility.
Why do I still have pain after spinal fusion surgery?
Because fusion only stabilizes one level but the ligaments above or below may still be weak and unstable. This creates new stress, continued pain, and sometimes superficial nerve entrapment that we can address directly to help break the cycle.
How do you diagnose nerve entrapment or ligament tears if the MRI looks fine?
We use dynamic physical exams and diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound to identify ligament laxity and nerve compression that static imaging often misses. This enables precise, targeted treatment. This is especially helpful in cases of lower or upper back pain, where symptoms may persist despite clean scans, due to soft-tissue dysfunction that’s hard to detect on MRI.
After years of desk work or lifting, I’ve been told I have facet arthritis. Does that mean I need surgery?
Not necessarily. Facet changes are often secondary to instability. By helping stabilize ligaments and release nerve entrapment, our approach may help reduce pain, improve mobility, and delay or reduce the need for invasive procedures in appropriate cases.
I keep feeling back spasms but was told nothing serious was found, what’s going on?
These spasms are likely protective responses to nerve irritation caused by weak ligaments. As your body braces itself, muscles tighten and without targeted ligament strengthening and release, spasms may keep recurring. In cases of middle back pain, this is especially common, as the area compensates for instability elsewhere in the spine. Without addressing the underlying factors, spasms may continue to recur.
How quickly can I expect relief with your ligament-focused treatment?
Every case is different, and results may vary. Your personalized treatment is designed to help strengthen ligaments, release nerve entrapment, and integrate balanced movement, and Dr. Hawass will discuss a realistic timeline with you at your assessment.
What happens if I actually have a true disc herniation causing leg pain?
If you have symptoms like radiating pain to the arm or the leg with weakness or numbness, it might be coming from a herniated disc. In this case, a surgical evaluation is recommended. We can’t treat those conditions.
Will strengthening my core and posture exercises help with this?
They can help, but often fall short if the root cause is ligament instability or nerve entrapment. While exercises for lower back pain and stretches for lower back pain may provide some relief, they don’t correct the structural dysfunction that’s causing your muscles to work overtime and perpetuating pain. At Peak Health VIP, we combine rehab with regenerative ligament therapy and release techniques to address the underlying factors.
What makes your method different from pain or spine clinics?
Many methods relieve symptoms temporarily. We go deeper, working to strengthen ligaments, release trapped nerves, manage tendon or muscle tension, and re-teach functional movement. This approach is designed to help reduce the chance of recurrence.
